BS EN ISO 14004:1996 Environmental Management Systems - General guidelines on principles, systems and supporting techniques

Many organisations are concerned to achieve and demonstrate sound environmental performance by controlling the impact of their activities, products or services on the environment.   BS EN ISO 14001 is the British issue of the international standard ISO 14001. This standard contains those environmental requirements of an organization that may be audited for certification/registration purposes and/or self declaration purposes.  This standard shares common management principles with the ISO 9000 series of Standards. .
